Nice little place had coffee and cake the portion of cake was large the coffee comes in one size. My cappuccino was slightly on the colder side but was nice and my wife's Americano was fairly hot.Worth a visit if in the area.
Delicious food in a charming relaxed environment. Some interesting range of second hand books on sale at reasonable prices. Dog friendly too.
Found this gem of a place Friday after visiting Upton a few times prior to this. On the corner just past Spar this old bank building can easily be missed. What a gem, unhurried tea/coffee drinking, grab a book off the shelf for a read & buy if you want, if not return another day to continue. Victoria Sponge was very nice yesterday, today's festival breakfast yum, nice thick bacon, soft yolks on the eggs & finally somewhere that can cook a grilled tomato. No complaints here, excellent staff, especially the charming French gent. We will be back
